Occupational Physician – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assist the health assessments team in supervising and ensuring quality assurance for occupational medicine services.

• Evaluate completed medical results following a candidate's assessment by a network medical provider.

• Make classification decisions in accordance with Medical Standards.

• Request additional information necessary for classification decisions.

• Engage directly with candidates for complex cases as needed.

• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders as a cooperative team member.

• Foster customer relationship development and enhance satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fellowship with the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (RACP) in good standing.

• Unrestricted/unconditional AHPRA registration as a Specialist Occupational Physician.

• Citizenship of Australia.

• National Police Check required.

• Experience in emergency services and/or safety-sensitive industries.

• Must be friendly, approachable, and receptive to feedback.

• Preferred location is Sydney.
