This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Play a vital role in ensuring that customers are adequately supplied with Abbott Nutrition samples and materials, while also educating them on their proper usage.
• Maintain real-time records of sampling and sales activities, utilizing platforms such as salesforce.com, pre-post call entries, and the upkeep of a key HCP list.
• Develop a comprehensive business plan for the territory and perform thorough analysis of territory KPIs, leveraging dashboards to evaluate progress and identify next steps.
• Demonstrate the capability to engage and sell to healthcare professionals.
• Present both adult and pediatric product lines to community-based healthcare providers (GP, RN, and RD).
• Maximize the use of samples and materials to encourage recommendations and trials.
• Optimize call coverage using geopoint and record all call details in SFDC in real-time.
• Monitor field activities and trends.
• Regularly update SFDC with calendar entries, accounts, and contacts.
• Analyze pre-post call data to establish objectives with accounts and contacts.
• Examine KPIs to ensure comprehensive tracking of territory trends.
• Revise the territory business plan including budgets, action plans for key customers, assessment of key lists versus call averages, and results analysis.
• Prepare and deliver territory business reviews to the RSM.
• Organize the locker and manage the inventory of samples and promotional materials.
• Develop and present a coverage plan to the RSM.
• Conduct locker inventory reconciliation.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or science is required; a background in nutrition is advantageous.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales role.
• Excellent presentation abilities.
• Ability to rapidly build relationships and gain access to customers.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Outlook and Salesforce.com.
• Flexible in scheduling and capable of working independently.
• Strong skills in territory management.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, and managing car stock and sample deliveries to customers.
• Willingness to travel overnight, with travel representing up to 10% depending on the territory.
