Nursing Student Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop strategies and provide academic support to students throughout their educational journey and as they prepare for the NCLEX-RN examination.

• Collaborate effectively with academic partners, faculty, and staff.

• Engage with students both individually and in small group settings.

• Evaluate learning styles, identify strengths, and uncover opportunities for academic growth.

• Design and execute personalized remediation plans.

• Exhibit thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the concepts assessed by the NCLEX-RN and maintain currency in nursing practice.

• Contribute to the creation of Next Generation NCLEX activities and workshops.

• Communicate and document students’ academic and co-curricular progress toward achieving student and program learning outcomes to academic leadership.

• Provide tutoring in individual or group settings.

• Engage in outreach efforts for students with at-risk referrals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring is preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to engage via telephone and computer.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail and proficient proofreading skills.

• Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Must be a collaborative team player, open to sharing and exchanging ideas.

• Maintenance of a current, unencumbered RN license is required.

• BLS CPR certification is required.

• BLS CPR instructor certification is required.

• ACLS and/or PALS certifications are preferred.
