Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Health Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional care to patients through a virtual platform.

• Utilize prescriptive authority in alignment with a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and working alongside Physicians on the care team to provide comprehensive care, especially for complex patients.

• Conduct follow-ups on lab results, imaging, and ensure effective communication with patients and other healthcare providers.

• Employ tools that facilitate virtual “exams,” including remote home monitoring devices, remote physical examinations, and point-of-care diagnostics.

• Engage in a collaborative care model involving registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors as needed.

• Attend necessary patient-care meetings, such as huddles, case conferences, and regular service line All Hands meetings.

• Offer insights to enhance operational workflows and improve product features.

• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP), or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited program.

• Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.

• At least 2 years of experience providing virtual care.

• Licensed in at least 2 core Oscar States.

• Must hold a Florida License.

• A compact RN license (if an APRN) is an additional advantage.

• Experience with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools is a plus.

• Willingness and ability to obtain further licensure in Oscar Medical Group states is an additional benefit.
