Nurse Practitioner – California License, Half-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a comprehensive patient panel focusing on perimenopause, menopause, weight management, sexual health, mood, and sleep through virtual consultations.

• Deliver continuous, relationship-centered care throughout multiple visits spanning months and years.

• Prescribe and independently oversee Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

• Assess patients for pharmacological weight management options, including GLP-1 therapies.

• Make independent clinical decisions.

• Conduct effective, high-volume appointments while ensuring warmth and quality care.

• Complete necessary documentation and follow-up actions.

• Achieve productivity targets.

• Utilize EHR, video conferencing, AI scribe tools, Slack, and clinical decision support systems.

• Occasionally provide evening, weekend, or multi-time-zone coverage to enhance patient access and meet business requirements.

• Report directly to the Nurse Practitioner Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current board certification: FNP-C / FNP-BC or WHNP-BC.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing perimenopause and menopause patients independently.

• At least 3 years of experience in prescribing and titrating HRT autonomously.

• Over 3 years of experience managing a continuous NP patient panel, fostering ongoing relationships and making independent clinical decisions over time.

• Minimum of 3 years of synchronous telemedicine experience.

• At least 1 year of experience evaluating and prescribing pharmacologic weight management therapies, including GLP-1 agonists.

• Possession of multiple active state licenses (DEA preferred).

• Access to reliable high-speed internet.

• Capability to work efficiently in a virtual setting.

• Willingness to occasionally cover evening, weekend, or multi-time-zone shifts as needed.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

• Certification in Menopause (MSCP) and/or Obesity Medicine is preferred.
