Nurse Practitioner, Bilingual, 100% Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provides immediate health care through telephone and tele-video methods to patients.

• Develops and executes clinical care plans for adult patients dealing with chronic and complex conditions.

• Collects medical history and conducts physical examinations and diagnostic assessments as necessary.

• Identifies and addresses gaps in care.

• Educates patients and their families regarding medication usage and adherence to medical advice.

• Maintains patient medical records and ensures proper medical documentation.

• Engages in continuing education as mandated by state regulations and certification bodies.

• Prescribes medications as allowed by the state's prescribing authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MS in Nursing is required.

• An active national Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification is necessary.

• A valid, current, active, and unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Texas, Iowa, or Kansas is required.

• A valid, current, active RN Compact license is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing complex care cases is required.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is mandatory.

• Bilingual or multi-language proficiency is required.
