Bilingual Live Medical Scribe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Document patient consultations and procedures in real-time during appointments.

• Prepare and review medical charts both before and after patient visits.

• Accurately capture: Patient histories, Exam findings, Treatment plans, and Clinical notes.

• Format documentation utilizing: SOAP notes, Provider-specific templates, and EMR/EHR systems.

• Maintain precise and organized medical records.

• Support provider follow-ups and facilitate patient communication workflows.

• Assist with: Orders, updates to documentation, clinical coordination, and administrative follow-up tasks.

• Verify prescriptions and initiate prior authorizations when necessary.

• Coordinate documentation with healthcare providers and clinical staff.

• Contribute to maintaining efficient patient flow and enhancing provider productivity.

• Uphold HIPAA compliance and ensure strict patient confidentiality.

• Ensure all medical documentation is accurate, complete, and ready for audits.

• Stay informed about medical terminology and the best practices in healthcare documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) — REQUIRED.

• English proficiency level: C1 or higher is mandatory.

• At least 6 months of experience as a: Medical scribe, Dental scribe, or Clinical documentation specialist for U.S.-based healthcare providers.

• Graduation from an allied medical program is strongly preferred: MD, DMD, RN, or similar healthcare-related backgrounds.

• Minimum typing speed of 70+ WPM.

• Strong grasp of: Medical terminology, Clinical documentation standards, SOAP note formatting, and Healthcare workflows.

• Experience with: EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in: Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in fast-paced clinical environments.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
