Nurse Practitioner, Bilingual, 100% Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver urgent healthcare through telephone and tele-video methods to patients.

• Design and execute clinical care plans for adult patients dealing with chronic and complex conditions.

• Collect patient history, conduct physical exams, and perform necessary diagnostics to create and implement treatment plans.

• Identify and address gaps in patient care.

• Address the physical and psychosocial needs of patients and their families.

• Provide education to patients and families regarding medication use, illness progression, diet, and nutrition.

• Collaborate with other clinical team members to ensure optimal care coordination.

• Maintain patient medical records and documentation accurately.

• Engage in continuing education as mandated by state regulations and certifying bodies.

• Prescribe medications as authorized by state prescribing authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MS in Nursing is required.

• Active national NP certification is mandatory.

• A valid, current, active, and unrestricted Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Texas, Iowa, or Kansas is needed.

• A valid, current, active RN Compact license is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing complex care cases is necessary.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.

• Bilingual or multi-language abilities are required.
