This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver comprehensive technical leadership and direct oversight for intricate nuclear field service projects that include BWR 2-6 reactor disassembly, assembly, fuel handling, in-core maintenance, and under-vessel operations.
• Organize, schedule, and execute field projects during the annual outages of customers.
• Oversee projects, direct tasks, provide technical guidance, coordinate activities, and manage both GEH and contracted teams at customer locations.
• Strategically plan, schedule, monitor, report, and coordinate both internal and external resources for designated projects and initiatives.
• Lead and manage GEH personnel, temporary workers, and skilled labor staff.
• Engage with senior management from customers and suppliers on commercial, technical, and compliance matters within an integrated service team.
• Assist in proposal development, cost estimation, and liaise with Customer Service and Commercial Operations.
• Participate in workforce planning, recruitment, and training efforts.
• Offer expertise in tooling and equipment.
• Collect customer insights and utilize them for enhancing products and services.
• Uphold integrity, safety, and quality standards and processes.
• Provide support to product lines within the larger Field Services organization as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field with at least 3 years of experience as a First Line Supervisor, OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years as a Technical First Line Supervisor, OR prior technical military experience with at least 3 years as a First Line Supervisor.
• Capability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capability and willingness to ascend and descend 10 flights of stairs twice daily.
• Capability and willingness to pass a respirator fit test and physical examination.
• Capability and willingness to meet Fitness For Duty and site security requirements to gain unescorted access.
• Capability and willingness to perform under high-stress conditions.
• Capability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated environments.
• Capability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to plant sites up to 75% of the time.
• Capability and willingness to work overtime, including up to 12-hour shifts and regular weekend work during customer projects.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information may necessitate authorization from the U.S. Government.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Preferred: Knowledge of nuclear power plant refueling and under-vessel operations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with BWR vessels and components, NSSS, and reactor containment structures.
• Preferred: Strong computer proficiency and ability to use MS Office, MS Project, and E-Matrix Database.
