This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Generate, acquire, and secure sales while developing and sustaining relationships through product presentations and customer engagement on behalf of CORE clients as instructed.
• Organize sales meetings, offer sales and product assistance, and support other Distributor inquiries.
• Identify and execute strategies on 30 High Value Targets each quarter.
• Conduct at least 10 sales calls weekly, or follow the sales metrics set by your manager.
• Present a minimum of 3 clients and showcase 6 items during each sales call.
• Achieve at least a 30% overall close rate quarterly.
• Utilize CRM tools for planning and documenting sales activities, achieving targets, strategic planning, and self-management by entering all pertinent information in real time and adhering to all assigned deadlines.
• Maintain and refresh operator profiles, including buyer contacts, priorities, market segments, attributes, size, buying group affiliations, distribution channels, and competitive client information.
• Efficiently manage administrative time, preparing and securing the required sales tools (samples, programs, POS, etc.) essential for a professional sales presentation.
• Contribute to team efforts as needed and as requested by management during company sales meetings, food shows, vendor fairs, and district sales meetings.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a sales position, ideally in the food service or related industry.
• Demonstrated success in sales performance and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and negotiate effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, displaying a cooperative and supportive demeanor.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed for business development and customer meetings.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
