Non-Dispensing Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Accurately process new prescriptions, refills, and discontinuations.

• Ensure patient medication profiles are complete and compliant.

• Handle a high volume of incoming calls from hospice partners, prescribers, and clinical staff.

• Triage routine service inquiries and appropriately escalate complex issues.

• Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication and active listening.

• Employ de-escalation techniques when addressing urgent or emotionally charged situations.

• Adhere to standards for service level, quality, productivity, and documentation.

• Utilize pharmacy systems and internal tools to oversee workflows and document activities.

• Identify service challenges and collaborate with operations leadership for resolution.

• Engage in training, system updates, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare environment.

• A detail-oriented individual who prioritizes accuracy and compliance.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a calm and empathetic demeanor.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, call-intensive setting.

• Familiarity with pharmacy systems, patient records, or workflow platforms.
