This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
β’ Development of an introductory course on Node.js;
β’ Creation of educational content;
β’ Oversight of the initial cohort of the course and implementing necessary modifications.
β’ Produce 40 hours of instructional content for the Node.js course focused on Backend Application Development;
β’ Each lesson should comprise 10 additional practical exercises, aside from those conducted in the lab;
β’ Instruct the first cohort of the course;
β’ Adjust the lessons and course materials/workbook as needed;
β’ Course materials must be developed in Markdown and tracked/managed through GitLab;
β’ The course materials should adhere to the following structure:
β’ - Introduction (course description and details on what is included and what will be learned);
β’ - Descriptive/explanatory texts for the topics, along with images and diagrams, optional tips, and a summary at the end of each chapter;
β’ - A final project or a project divided across chapters (preferably in the last chapter);
β’ - Information regarding the course infrastructure or appliance;
β’ - Quizzes β conceptual/review questions: 5 per macro-lesson;
β’ - Lab questions β contextualized practical exercises: 10 per macro-lesson.
β’ Write two blog posts related to the course or its content;
β’ Provide a detailed summary of the course with information for the launch;
β’ For Lab.Code: deliver a contextualized problem, a written solution to the problem, and a video walkthrough of the solution (recording of the terminal/application).
β’ Opportunity to contribute to an engaging educational initiative;
