This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Act as the main technical advisor for designated strategic customer accounts.
• Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with customer security teams and their leadership.
• Comprehend customer security operations workflows, use cases, and business goals.
• Provide mentorship to customer teams on SIEM best practices and techniques for threat hunting.
• Assist customers in the deployment, configuration, and integration of Next-Gen SIEM.
• Enhance data ingestion strategies and log source configurations.
• Create and implement custom detection rules, correlation searches, and applicable use cases.
• Develop tailored dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on customer needs.
• Support the migration of detection content from older SIEM platforms (such as Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
• Conduct health checks and reviews for platform optimization.
• Resolve complex technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams as necessary.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators and success metrics.
• Discover opportunities for automation and enhancements in workflows.
• Contribute to the internal knowledge base and documentation of best practices.
• Over 5 years of experience in security operations, SIEM administration, or security engineering.
• Knowledge of at least one major SIEM platform (Next-Gen SIEM, LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Chronicle, etc.).
• Proficiency in query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL, CQL, or similar).
• Background in detection engineering and the development of correlation rules.
• Familiarity with common log sources (Windows, Linux, network devices, cloud platforms).
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Understanding of cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Acquainted with concepts related to endpoint detection and response (EDR).
