This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Engage with healthcare providers through various channels including in-person meetings, virtual interactions, and digital platforms.
• Offer detailed expertise on products and their approved uses, utilizing intricate on-label information.
• Perform proactive outreach regarding product accessibility, on-label details, and established patient care protocols.
• Direct clients to Customer Service Specialists and other relevant colleagues as necessary.
• Ensure that customer inquiries are addressed and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
• Facilitate speaker programs effectively.
• Organize local provider groups in collaboration with local and regional leaders.
• Elevate opportunities, feedback, and insights from the local market to the Area Business Lead.
• Work alongside the ecosystem team to modify targeting and call-point strategies in a compliant manner.
• Utilize customer insights to shape local strategies and business objectives.
• Analyze territory and business conditions, including sales data, competitive information, and promotional budgets.
• Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Cultivate relationships with office and practice personnel while providing accurate information.
• Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Minimum of one of the following: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; 3+ years of B2B or equivalent outside sales experience; or 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience may be considered if they successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• Proficiency in communicating complex clinical information and translating scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
• Ability to sway stakeholders effectively.
• Strong dedication to ethical business practices and knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Capability to perform business activities in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
• Competence in assimilating and conveying complex clinical and product information.
• Must live within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city within the sales territory.
