This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Promote Acadia products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) through in-person and virtual interactions, delivering clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information in a compliant and customer-centric manner.
• Create and implement a territory business strategy aimed at achieving or surpassing sales targets, utilizing market analytics, customer insights, and quarterly action plans.
• Build and sustain robust relationships with HCPs, including key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections with advanced dialogue and sales techniques.
• Customize approved sales materials, clinical reprints, and brand resources to suit the specific needs of customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) to provide coordinated solutions.
• Offer guidance on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels, acting as a liaison between customers and the company for access-related matters.
• Diligently track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions in a timely fashion.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibits, and training sessions; participate in national, regional, and local meetings as necessary.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists as required, and contribute to cross-functional projects and provide field strategic insights.
• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a focus on life sciences.
• For the Sales Specialist role, a minimum of 1+ years of sales experience is required, including at least 1 year in pharmaceutical and/or related healthcare sales, with a focus on neuroscience preferred.
• For the Senior Specialist level, a minimum of 5+ years in healthcare sales is required, including at least 2 years in complex or account-based selling environments.
• For the Executive level, a minimum of 12+ years in healthcare sales is required, including at least 3 years in complex or account-based selling environments.
• Demonstrated advanced selling abilities, leadership skills, and business acumen are essential.
• Proven success in influencing diverse HCP audiences across various care settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are necessary.
• Capability to work independently, adapt to changes, and consistently deliver high results.
• Must reside within the territory (or within 30 miles of its border) and hold a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to meet travel requirements, including significant driving and overnight stays; air travel as necessary.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements for access to HCP offices, long-term care facilities, and medical conferences is required.
