Neuropsychologist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Conduct intake interviews to compile comprehensive client histories.

• Provide thorough neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluations for clients across all age groups, collaborating with families and other relevant sources.

• Analyze psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, including occasional direct administration of tests.

• Act as a subject matter expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments.

• Supervise and oversee the work of the assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

• Prepare detailed neuropsychological evaluation reports along with concise summary documents.

• Conduct feedback sessions to explain findings, diagnoses, and tailored recommendations.

• Collaborate with the patient's care team to guide and coordinate treatment planning.

• Conduct both virtual and/or in-person sessions with patients and their families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association.

• A minimum of one year predoctoral internship with a focus on neuropsychology is preferred.

• A two-year postdoctoral fellowship specializing in neuropsychology is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of experience, supervision, or training will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• Must be a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state.

• PSYPACT authorized or eligible candidates are preferred.

• Experience in conducting assessments both virtually and in person.

• Familiarity with online web-based applications is required.

• Possess effective therapeutic communication skills.

• Capable of delivering care virtually or in person from your own office space.

• Candidates must successfully pass a background check for this role.
