This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Oversee a designated geographic area to effectively promote and enhance the growth of Neurocrine products.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with physicians and other key customers within targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands along with their approved uses.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders regarding product benefits.
• Foster product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies using both face-to-face and virtual communication methods.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges related to product success.
• Manage promotional resources and adhere to budget constraints.
• Develop relationships with healthcare providers, clinical teams, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Work collaboratively with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain full field presence from Monday to Friday and participate in occasional evening or weekend events.
• Bachelor's degree in science or a related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a similar field.
• Over 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical, long-term care, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly preferred.
• A Master's degree in science or a related field with at least 2 years of similar experience may be considered as an alternative.
• Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in Psychiatry, Neurology, or antipsychotic medications is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of best practices within the functional area and broader related business concepts.
• Strong grasp of healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscapes.
• Proven success in meeting or surpassing sales goals and achieving launch success in complex settings.
• Capability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Strong computer literacy and working knowledge of business systems.
• Proficient with Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, and other related tools.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
• Strong aptitude for sales and account management.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across various care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Results-driven, adaptable, ethical, and capable of managing change effectively.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
• Entrepreneurial mindset or relevant experience.
• Must reside within the assigned geographic territory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required; frequent driving is necessary.
