This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a designated geographic territory while effectively promoting and expanding Neurocrine products.
• Build enduring relationships with physicians and other clients for targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands and their approved indications.
• Inform physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about product advantages.
• Foster product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual communication methods.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Manage promotional resources and budgets efficiently.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Work collaboratively with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A BS/BA degree in science or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area, including over 3 years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales experience is highly preferred.
• A Master's degree in science or a related discipline and 2+ years of comparable experience may be considered as an alternative.
• Familiarity with best practices in the functional discipline and broader business concepts.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment and enforcement mechanisms.
• A proven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and successful launches in complex settings.
• Capability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient computer skills and a solid understanding of business systems.
• Expertise with sales platforms and business intelligence tools, including Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, and Veeva.
• Outstanding project management skills.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A robust disposition toward sales and account management.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Results-driven with a commitment to high ethical standards.
• Adaptable and effective in managing change.
• Skilled at meeting multiple deadlines with precision and efficiency.

• Must reside within the designated geographic area of the assigned territory.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required; the position entails frequent driving.
