This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee a portfolio of around 10 to 12 Academic Medical Centers (AMCs) and neuromuscular specialty centers within a designated U.S. region, acting as the institutional commercial leader.

• Create and implement detailed account plans for each institution, encompassing formulary strategies, stakeholder identification, competitive positioning, and pathways for patient access.

• Navigate intricate institutional purchasing landscapes, including Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) committees, pharmacy contracts, hospital administration, and operations of infusion centers.

• Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with heads of neurology departments, treating neurologists, clinical pharmacists, infusion nurses, and medical directors.

• Spearhead formulary and pathway submissions, along with P&T committee presentations at key institutions, aiming to secure preferred or unrestricted formulary status for the C5 inhibitor.

• Collaborate with Market Access National and Payer Account Directors to ensure alignment of institutional contracts with overarching payer strategies and to address prior authorization challenges.

• Partner with specialty pharmacy associates and the Patient Services hub to guarantee efficient reimbursement processes for buy-and-bill infusion products.

• Monitor formulary statuses, pull-through metrics, and access challenges across all assigned accounts; escalate systemic issues accompanied by data-driven recommendations.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field of neuromuscular medicine within the specified territory, in collaboration with Medical Affairs.

• Represent Regeneron at national and regional neurology congresses (AAN, MGFA), medical education events, and institutional grand rounds as necessary.

• Maintain thorough CRM documentation and account intelligence; utilize IQVIA/Symphony Health data for prescriber-level targeting and performance assessment.

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accounts engaged, formulary inclusions achieved, patient conversions, revenue per account, and competitive share of voice.

• Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews to the Executive Director, outlining account advancements, obstacles, competitive dynamics, and resource requirements.

• Contribute to recommendations for territory realignment and Year 2 expansion planning based on insights gathered from field-level market intelligence.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; a PharmD, RN, or an advanced degree in life sciences is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 10 to 12+ years of experience in institutional sales, market access, or account management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.

• Proven experience with hospital/AMC formulary processes, engagement with P&T committees, and institutional buy-and-bill contracting.

• A successful track record in rare disease, neurology, or specialty biologic sales/account management, preferably including experience with product launches.

• Strong clinical knowledge with the capability to engage physicians, pharmacists, and medical directors in scientifically robust discussions.

• Experience in executing competitive switch or conversion strategies within institutional environments.

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and commercial analytics platforms (IQVIA, Symphony Health, specialty pharmacy data).

• Ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder account relationships with minimal oversight.

• Willingness to travel 60–70% within the designated territory, including overnight trips.

• Candidates must reside within the designated territory.
