This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist customers in implementing services within 11:11’s global cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee network deployment efforts during the onboarding process for customers.
• Ensure accountability for the quality of delivery and the overall customer experience.
• Record activities in the company’s ticketing system.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the knowledge base.
• Manage and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments.
• Design and architect network topologies suitable for various environments.
• Create and uphold deployment processes as technologies and permissions evolve.
• Support the Technical Account Managers and Support team with complex customer issues.
• Collaborate with project managers to fulfill assigned tasks.
• Take responsibility for tasks related to 11:11’s cloud network systems.
• Uphold the company's data handling, privacy, compliance, and policy standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in alignment with the company’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.
• Execute additional responsibilities as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of recent hands-on experience as a Cisco network engineer.
• Experience in managed services, IaaS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise settings.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification with demonstrated work experience is preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of BGP, IPsec, network segmentation, VRFs, switching, VLANs, and load balancers is preferred.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization clusters and software-defined networking, including VMware NSX, is preferred.
• Experience in global data center environments.
• Proven experience in deploying virtual appliances, especially Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Netscaler, F5, SonicWall, and Juniper Networks.
• History of working directly with enterprise customers, project managers, and cross-functional delivery teams is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in occasional scheduled after-hours work, including customer migrations and cutovers.
• Capability to automate network deployments, validation, and operational tasks.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the designated country without needing visa sponsorship.
• Ability to satisfactorily perform each essential function.
