Network Engineer – Level III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver Tier 3 technical support for intricate IT infrastructure and networking challenges.

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot:

• Firewalls

• Managed switches

• Routers

• Wireless networking devices

• Administer and support VMware virtual environments and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Monitor network performance, security, and system uptime.

• Assist with server management, backups, disaster recovery, and system enhancements.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for IP and cloud-based telephony systems.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve advanced technical issues.

• Maintain documentation for network setups, procedures, and systems.

• Engage in project planning, deployments, migrations, and infrastructure advancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in IT support or systems/network administration.

• Extensive practical experience with:

• Networking and routing

• Firewalls and network security

• Managed switches

• VMware virtualization

• Microsoft Azure

• Experience in supporting IP/Cloud telephony systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.

• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.

• Capability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.

• Relevant industry certifications such as:

• CompTIA Network+

• Cisco CCNA

• VMware VCP

• Microsoft Azure certifications

• Experience in K-12, higher education, or government sectors is advantageous.
