Network Engineer – Level 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain the hardware and software components of the network.

• Monitor network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues and outages.

• Troubleshoot incidents and implement corrective measures, including emergency changes.

• Execute routine and scheduled network modifications in accordance with change management protocols.

• Participate in change reviews and contribute to the ongoing improvement of services.

• Support and uphold the standards and configurations for network architecture design.

• Implement and enforce network security policies along with best practices.

• Offer technical support for network-related issues to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and service engineers.

• Document configurations, architecture diagrams, processes, and resolutions for incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in network support within a complex, multi-vendor environment.

• Practical experience with network architecture concepts, such as LAN/WAN design, routing and switching, segmentation, and redundancy models.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving.

• Knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and security best practices.

• Familiarity with change management processes and tools.

• Capable of performing under pressure and managing high-priority incidents.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
