This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Foster a high-performing culture by guiding, coaching, and mentoring managers, architects, and principal engineers.
• Ensure robust accountability, ongoing development, and future succession planning.
• Manage the multi-year OPEX and CAPEX financial portfolio.
• Drive the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
• Optimize returns on technology investments while managing operating costs effectively.
• Establish the multi-year enterprise network architecture roadmap and engineering standards.
• Lead the strategy for hybrid/multi-cloud, SD-WAN, and network security.
• Create secure, scalable, and resilient clinical and enterprise systems.
• Oversee the complete network project portfolio from inception to completion.
• Ensure that major modernization and lifecycle programs are executed on schedule and within budget.
• Mitigate technical debt and systemic risk.
• Manage key technology vendor relationships and commercial agreements.
• Hold external partners accountable for service quality, delivery commitments, and favorable contract terms.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required, including 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required, including 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Progressive leadership experience managing large-scale, enterprise Network Architecture & Engineering teams, including oversight of managers, architects, and senior engineering leads.
• Proven success in defining strategy, standards, and modernization roadmaps across complex hybrid/multi-cloud environments, SD-WAN, data center networks, and network security.
• Demonstrated experience in owning and managing large-scale annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets, including multi-year technology refresh plans, vendor contracts, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
