Network Architect, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Creation and design of network solutions within the data centers of T-Systems / Deutsche Telekom.

• Development of networks tailored to customer specifications in IT data centers.

• Coordination with network engineering teams to craft specialized solutions.

• Assumption of network technical sub-project management responsibilities in client projects.

• Oversight and management of technical data center network projects.

• Involvement in transition & transformation as well as presales initiatives.

• Strategic planning and oversight of migrations from CMO environments to FMO environments.

• Architecture design of network solutions for multidisciplinary projects.

• Contribution to the creation of new standard products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a technical or IT discipline or equivalent vocational training.

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Extensive experience in developing solutions and providing consulting services.

• In-depth knowledge of technology and technical specifications.

• Proficient skills in SD LAN / WAN (routing/switching), internet, security (firewall/VPN/IDS_IPS), and cloud platforms.

• Strong understanding and experience in project management methodologies.

• Ability to consult and apply appropriate methods and tools.

• Management of service providers.

• Comprehensive understanding of the conception and design of network solutions in data centers.

• Excellent knowledge of analytical methods and substantial experience.

• Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.

• Business fluent in English (CEF Level C1) and German (Level B1).

• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.
