NetSuite Technical Consultant – SOX-Compliant Development & Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and deploy customizations in NetSuite utilizing SuiteScript 2.x

• Create User Events, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, RESTlets, and Suitelets

• Construct and manage custom records, forms, fields, saved searches, and dashboards

• Adhere to established coding standards, engage in peer review processes, and fulfill documentation requirements

• Design and execute SOX-compliant workflows, validations, and approval procedures

• Assist with ITGC, application controls, and audit obligations

• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties and maintain change management documentation

• Collaborate with Internal Audit and external auditors during SOX assessments

• Design and establish workflow-driven approval procedures

• Set up system validations and exception controls

• Streamline business processes while ensuring auditability and compliance

• Facilitate integrations between NetSuite and external systems, including Coupa, banking platforms, payroll systems, CRM applications, and middleware solutions

• Diagnose API, REST, SOAP, and integration challenges

• Aid in data synchronization and reconciliation tasks

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for NetSuite and associated applications

• Resolve performance challenges and system defects

• Engage in release management and production deployments

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of technical development experience in NetSuite

• Proficient in SuiteScript 2.x development

• Background in implementing SOX-compliant workflows, validations, and approval processes

• Experience in supporting a US public company environment

• Strong grasp of NetSuite security and role-based access controls

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and change management controls
