This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Design, develop, maintain, and evolve APIs and backend solutions using C# and .NET.
• Maintain and modernize applications built on various versions of .NET and .NET Framework, including updating NuGet packages, libraries, and dependencies.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements, assessing the impact of changes on applications, services, and related components.
• Participate in integrations with internal and external services related to transactional processes and payment methods.
• Design, create, modify, and optimize queries, tables, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to applications, APIs, integrations, and databases.
• Implement unit tests and address quality, maintainability, and security observations using static analysis tools such as SonarQube.
• Apply best practices for secure development, especially in handling sensitive information.
• Execute the necessary technical validations and tests before releasing changes to higher environments.
• Document and maintain traceability of changes made, actively participating in the team and proposing improvement alternatives when appropriate.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related fields with 2 years of experience.
• 2 years of experience in application development using .NET and .NET Core.
• Experience in developing web applications, APIs, and backend services in production environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks such as SCRUM, Kanban, or others.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
• Desirable knowledge of distributed integration technologies (Message broker, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of technologies for developing modern web applications with SPA and PWA.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Understanding of architectural design patterns for applications.
• Knowledge in microservices-oriented development.
• Proficient in C# with strong backend development experience.
• Experience with .NET 8 or higher and ASP.NET Core, including .NET 10 in the current stack.
• Ability to maintain and modernize existing applications developed in .NET 6 and .NET Framework.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server, including queries, tables, stored procedures, and SQL optimization.
• Experience with Dapper and/or Entity Framework for data access and persistence, preferably Dapper.
• Experience in developing unit tests with xUnit and Moq, or equivalent tools.
• Experience using SonarQube for static analysis, code quality, and maintainability.
• Proficient in Git and source code repositories.
• Object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
• Layered architecture and separation of responsibilities.
• Familiarity with JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and service integration.
• Management of packages and dependencies through NuGet.
• Ability to analyze existing code, identify dependencies, and make changes while minimizing impacts on other components.
• Proficient in Postman, Insomnia, or SoapUI.
• Experience working under agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
