NCLEX Success Coach, Nursing Academic Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist nursing students in preparing for the NCLEX-RN examination.

• Offer personalized and small-group academic coaching to enhance NCLEX readiness.

• Conduct focused tutoring sessions and structured workshops that emphasize test-taking strategies and clinical judgment.

• Involve students in reflective learning and nurture critical thinking skills.

• Aid students in formulating effective study plans and developing strong academic habits.

• Manage the ATI implementation for designated cohorts, including account oversight and performance monitoring.

• Create NCLEX-aligned study guides and structured remediation resources.

• Coordinate ATI Capstone and Virtual ATI participation in collaboration with faculty.

• Encourage consistent utilization of ATI resources throughout the curriculum.

• Evaluate ATI performance reports and internal assessment data to pinpoint learning gaps and trends.

• Design and execute data-driven remediation plans that align with course objectives and NCLEX test plans.

• Track student progress toward NCLEX readiness benchmarks (e.g., Virtual ATI “Green Light”).

• Take proactive measures when performance indicators indicate potential risks.

• Collaborate with faculty to strengthen ATI integration within classroom and clinical learning settings.

• Provide additional instruction that aligns with established course content when necessary.

• Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts related to NCLEX outcomes.

• Maintain precise records of student engagement, remediation activities, and progress.

• Leverage ATI analytics and cohort-level data to inform academic support strategies.

• Identify at-risk students early and implement timely, structured interventions.

• Keep consistent documentation of student progress and remediation efforts.

• Work collaboratively with the Director of NCLEX and faculty to refine strategies.

• Contribute to measurable enhancements in student preparedness for the NCLEX-RN examination.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a higher qualification from an accredited institution.

• Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (BRN).

• At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a pre-licensure or post-licensure nursing program.

• A minimum of four (4) years of direct patient care experience in medical-surgical nursing within the last five (5) years.

• Experience in supporting student learning outcomes, remediation, or academic coaching.

• Proficient understanding of ATI or similar NCLEX preparation platforms.

• Experience utilizing ATI analytics to drive academic interventions.

• Familiarity with NCLEX test plans and clinical judgment frameworks.

• Experience assisting at-risk or academically vulnerable students.

• Knowledge of NCLEX preparation platforms such as ATI, Kaplan, HESI, or similar options.

• Excellent coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
