NCDR LAAO Registry Abstractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluates patient medical records and extracts data for the NCDR LAAO Registry.

• Accurately and consistently applies registry specifications, definitions, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines.

• Analyzes clinical documentation related to cardiology procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and associated quality measures.

• Inputs precise and comprehensive data into designated registry platforms, EHRs, vendor tools, or other data collection systems.

• Upholds a high standard of abstraction accuracy, completeness, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Achieves assigned productivity targets, weekly progress objectives, and adheres to internal and client timelines.

• Engages in quality assurance activities, including feedback, correction, validation, and inter-rater reliability (IRR) reviews.

• Communicates professionally with account leads, team members, and client contacts when clarification is necessary.

• Maintains stringent confidentiality and adheres to ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NCDR LAAO Registry abstraction.

• Capability to independently abstract LAAO cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.

• Solid understanding of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation review, and medical record interpretation.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through.

• Proficient in navigating multiple EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems as assigned.

• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Contractors are required to have high-speed secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.
