This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Drive sustainable and repeatable growth for the Navy/NAVFAC account, focusing on the Navy’s Pacific and West Regions.

• Formulate and oversee strategic plans, identify market influencers, allocate growth resources, and assess competitors and small-business involvement.

• Collaborate with AECOM regional business lines and business line leaders.

• Create account plans, opportunity targets, acquisition strategies, and growth objectives.

• Monitor and facilitate sales prospects, pipeline, bookings, and portfolio quality.

• Review and refresh the Salesforce pipeline weekly and ensure capture plans for significant pursuits.

• Assist with teaming, negotiations, pricing, proposal evaluations, risk-management approvals, and federal requirements.

• Oversee major proposals and track contract capacity, bookings, subcontract positions, and client relationships.

• Lead and nurture relationships with NAVY/NAVFAC regions, engineering commands, research and development centers, and other clients.

• Coordinate cross-agency opportunities with Air Force and Army account managers.

• Supervise corrective actions and monitor recoveries to guarantee client satisfaction.

• Maintain awareness of FAR compliance and participate on joint venture boards.

• Review CPAR reports and rebuttals, assessing contract performance and risk.

• Identify and address organizational conflict-of-interest issues.

• Communicate account status, objectives, metrics, and progress across business lines and regions.

• Advocate for the AECOM brand, professional activities, paper development, and the Department of War team.

• Uphold HR requirements and negotiate objectives for assigned staff.

• Manage client relations, market analysis, strategy, positioning, capture, and Navy/NAVFAC contract oversight.

• Develop and implement client account plans to meet annual targets and enhance the program year after year.

• Champion AECOM Navy programs delivering architecture-engineering, environmental, energy, construction management, and construction quality assurance services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or another related field that aligns with AECOM’s business lines and NAVY/NAVFAC client requirements.

• A minimum of 12 years of experience working with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs.

• At least 4 years of leadership experience or equivalent experience and/or education.

• US citizenship is required.

• Travel throughout CONUS and occasional OCONUS travel is required.

• Master’s or PhD degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.

• Professional Engineer/Architect Registration (PE or AIA) is highly desirable.

• Navy Civil Engineer Corps Captain rank or higher is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of PFAS is highly desirable.

• Experience with Brooks Act procurement is highly desirable.

• Experience in Energy Performance Services is highly desirable.

• Experience in waterfront design and construction is highly desirable.

• Experience in airfield design and construction is highly desirable.
