Natural Gas Technical Sales Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the business development pipeline within the targeted segment while promoting NORIT products and services, aiming to achieve specified revenue, volume, and margin targets from the customer base.

• Create forecasts for volume and revenue, develop account strategies for new business and client retention, design customer value propositions, and formulate sales strategies to meet desired outcomes.

• Enhance both current and future value for NORIT by cultivating a mutual understanding of the unique value offered to individual customers and the overall profitability of the portfolio.

• Communicate effectively and negotiate complex sales opportunities with clients. Educate customers on the value proposition while clearly articulating features and benefits.

• Discover new market opportunities and actively seek competitive insights.

• Assist in managing third-party sales intermediaries, including engineering firms, distributors, developers, system providers, and service organizations.

• Utilize Salesforce.com and data management tools consistently and diligently to keep an accurate and current sales forecast and opportunity pipeline.


⛳️ Requirements

• Technical Excellence. Experienced in selling technical products and solutions related to gas processing technologies (specifically amine systems) and purification, with knowledge of NORIT’s technical capabilities and midstream oil and gas processing applications.

• Familiarity with activated carbon for gas purification is considered an advantage.

• Commercial Skills. Demonstrated experience in business development and consultative technical selling, with a solid understanding of the midstream oil and gas processing market and value chain, and the ability to capture value effectively.

• Communication & Presentation Skills. Proficient in engaging in timely, concise, clear, and relevant verbal and written communications, delivered with empathy.

• Customer Relationship Management. Develops and maintains suitable relationships with customers and intermediaries to facilitate the execution of NORIT’s strategic objectives.

• Results Driven. Operates with urgency and determination, taking ownership and responsibility for exploring new client opportunities. Employs initiative, creativity, and humility to elicit customer responses.

• Business Savvy. Exhibits financial and marketing insight (addressable markets, customer segmentation, voice of customer, value propositions, pricing strategies, margin growth, etc.).

• A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, with an MBA preferred.

• At least 7 years of sales experience in the oil and gas or chemical industry.
