This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Oversee and manage category review calendars, internal deadlines, and timelines associated with our principals to ensure that all requirements, submissions, and follow-ups are executed accurately and punctually.
• Maintain precise, timely, and comprehensive internal reporting and documentation related to key accounts, principals, meetings, action items, and ongoing initiatives to enhance visibility, accountability, and alignment.
• Build and nurture relationships with assigned Key Accounts and their category managers as well as Distributors (e.g., KeHE, UNFI).
• Cultivate positive and trusting relationships with all principals.
• Address concerns and resolve issues promptly and respectfully.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously enhance effectiveness and productivity.
• Proactively support retailers and distributors with store openings, distributor tabletops, Expo, etc.
• Create and propose strategic and sound promotional plans for key principals.
• Monitor and report on competitive efforts concerning our principals, including new items, pricing, packaging, and promotional activities.
• Work with the Green Spoon leadership team to generate ideas for expanding our principals’ business and provide suggestions for enhancements.
• Engage in strategic discussions regarding the management of Supermarket / Conventional business as the convergence of two channels evolves.
• Attend and actively participate in all team meetings.
• Present and secure buyer approvals for new lines / SKUs at designated key accounts.
• Collaborate closely with UNFI / KeHE representatives supporting assigned accounts.
• Ensure prime placement in planograms.
• Prepare and submit New Items Forms, Distributor and Retail Promotions, etc.
• Arrange key retailer appointments for our principals.
• Participate in retailer meetings with principals and assist with all communication, meeting recaps, paperwork, and follow-up.

• Must possess a smartphone and computer to fulfill job responsibilities
• Key Account Experience (3+ years of relevant natural/conventional grocery experience selling to HQ)
• A college degree is strongly preferred.
