Native Ads Teamlead – Performance Marketing, E-Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversight of the agency's entire native ad spend volume and advancement of the native strategy.

• Making decisions on scaling strategies, funnel types, and suitable brands.

• Potential technical leadership of a team comprising media buyers, copywriters, and creative strategists.

• Providing feedback on campaigns, funnels, and creatives.

• Expanding the team to support growth and onboarding new employees.

• Managing project distribution and weekend availability within the team.

• Taking full responsibility for the most demanding native accounts, including strategy and management.

• Conducting customer reporting and ensuring long-term, collaborative client relationships.

• Developing existing clients and scaling budgets.

• Overseeing funnel architecture from the ad to the offer page.

• Briefing for copywriting and graphics while evaluating results based on performance data.

• Standardizing onboarding, campaign setup, and reporting in the native area.

• Documenting learnings and making them available as methodology for the entire native team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing accounts with Taboola or Outbrain with a monthly ad spend exceeding €100,000; alternatively, a strong track record with META.

• Several years of experience in media buying.

• Ability to quickly scale accounts profitably and carry out budget cuts during performance downturns.

• Expertise in conceptualizing and optimizing the entire funnel journey from the ad to the offer page.

• Experience with advertorial and pre-lander mechanics.

• Making budget decisions based on margin, CAC, and contribution margin rather than revenue.

• Experience with D2C clients or personal shop ownership.

• Ideally, some experience in team leadership, feedback discussions, and performance evaluation.

• Preferably knowledgeable in tracking.

• Experience with Voluum or attribution solutions like Hyros, admetrics, or Tracify.
