This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Apex is looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented National Service Line Leader – Infrastructure to develop and implement a national infrastructure strategy that propels our growth in water and wastewater infrastructure, civil/site engineering, and transportation engineering services.
• This position will take full ownership of the infrastructure regulatory and funding landscape at both federal and state levels, including understanding how mandates influence client demand, the funding mechanisms (formula, SRF, and grants), and how these funding avenues affect timing, procurement, and winning strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts, ensuring excellence in delivery and fostering repeat business.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of experience in infrastructure engineering/consulting, including more than 10 years in leadership roles with national or multi-regional oversight.
• Develop strategic client relationships and enhance Apex’s standing in the water/wastewater, civil/site engineering, and transportation sectors, both in public and private markets.
• Expand repeatable regulatory compliance frameworks into new regions.
• Manage the regulatory and funding intelligence system: maintain an up-to-date understanding of federal/state mandates relevant to infrastructure development and their funding sources, then translate that into localized pursuit strategies that boost win rates and expedite backlog conversion.
