National Manager – Liver Health Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate programs and initiatives for ALF’s Think Liver Think Life (TLTL) Initiative.

• Represent ALF, along with its mission and values, to stakeholders including the general public.

• Assist in the development of the TLTL Primary Care outreach program aimed at enhancing awareness, education, and MASLD/MASH screening.

• Aid in creating educational materials and the microsite for the TLTL Primary Care outreach program.

• Establish partnerships with liver health screening sites, primary care physicians, allied health professionals, medical organizations, and community health centers nationwide.

• Support the National Director, Education and Outreach on various projects.

• Devise and execute MASLD/MASH screening initiative methodology, protocols, and data collection processes.

• Create and provide education and training to medical clinics and volunteers.

• Design and deliver health education and connection-to-care services.

• Coordinate training for ALF staff, clinic coordination, and act as a liaison with Sonic Incytes regarding the Velacur device for clinic screening events.

• Ensure compliance with established timelines for MASLD/MASH screenings at the required number of sites.

• Identify and distribute ALF educational materials and resources.

• Organize and facilitate virtual meetings and programming.

• Foster relationships to promote the TLTL program within assigned states.

• Serve as a liaison between the TLTL Program and ALF Advocates.

• Represent ALF in pertinent state-level cancer control and medical initiatives.

• Analyze and report on data findings.

• Share fundraising prospect information with national development staff.

• Report directly to the National Director, Education and Outreach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in health education, Public Health, Community Health, or a closely related health field.

• Proficient in English.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health education.

• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.

• Experience with Electronic Health Records.

• Understanding of health issues, public health, and liver disease.

• Willingness and ability to learn complex medical information.

• Experience in data collection and analysis.

• Capability to maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to launch and manage projects to completion.

• Skill in effectively communicating with patient populations.

• Competence in managing crisis situations and exercising sound judgment.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and quality.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be capable of lifting and carrying 35 pounds.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Spanish verbal and written proficiency is preferred.

• CHES® certification is preferred.

• Experience in executing health screening initiatives is preferred.
