This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, encompassing relationship development, presentation of listings, execution, point-of-sale forecasting, business reviews, and planning for promotions.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in distribution, including Sales VPs, Vertical Directors, Corporate Account Managers, National Account Managers, and Tools & Safety Managers.
• Recognize significant end-user conversion opportunities, implement strategies at the corporate level, and collaborate with sellers and the Industrial Account Manager team for field execution.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key individuals within assigned accounts through consistent planning and communication.
• Propel new product listings and implement promotional rollout strategies to secure national visibility for product launches.
• Negotiate annual customer VBA agreements and conduct monthly and quarterly business performance reviews to ensure growth objectives are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Channel, Finance, Supply Chain, Forecasting/Demand Planning, and Credit, to guarantee consistent and clear communication.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to design and implement field programs, events, promotions, and training initiatives that enhance sales and educate end users about SBD product lines.
• Organize and execute field support strategies with the Industrial Account Manager team while efficiently managing marketing, promotional, and travel & expense budgets and staying informed about competitive activities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related area.
• At least 8 years of sales or marketing experience in the construction and industrial sectors.
• Previous experience in sales management and key account management.
• Strong dedication to customer service, with the ability to comprehend customer needs, proactively solve issues, and provide outstanding service.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, and the capability to travel up to 60% with a valid driver’s license.
