This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Serve as a clinical services specialist and quality outcomes specialist, providing education to teams across designated regions.
• Create, assess, and distribute clinical policies and educational resources.
• Execute and oversee plans to achieve facility objectives.
• Disseminate best practices that enhance quality management initiatives.
• Aid in the training programs for preceptors.
• Provide training to colleagues, management, and patients.
• Promote patient-centered kidney care throughout the assigned areas.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited nursing school is required; alternatively, a three-year diploma from an accredited nursing diploma program may be accepted in lieu of a nursing degree.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is also preferred.
• A current RN license in the state of practice is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in nephrology is required; 5 years is preferred.
• Previous experience in researching, updating, and maintaining clinical policies and procedures is preferred.
• Must possess flexibility in scheduling and the ability to travel.
• Strong preference for those with experience in teaching adult learners.
• Proven ability to convey technical and medical information in understandable terms when necessary.
• Certification as a CNN or CDN, or Bonent certification must be obtained within one year of hiring or position change.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good insurable driving record are required.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential.
