This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the strategic vision and financial outcomes of the Foodservice sector while promoting sustainable, profitable expansion.
• Take ownership of the Foodservice P&L, achieving annual targets for revenue, profit, and market share.
• Formulate and implement a long-term growth strategy for Foodservice across both commercial and non-commercial avenues.
• Discover new market potentials, customer demographics, and strategic alliances that boost growth.
• Create annual business plans, forecasts, and budget proposals.
• Cultivate and enhance customer relationships that broaden distribution, speed up market entry, and provide long-term benefits.
• Oversee the national customer strategy involving foodservice distributors, operators, ingredient accounts, and strategic channel partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key distributor partners, re-distributors, national accounts, contract feeders, and GPOs.
• Propel the implementation of promotional initiatives, category strategies, and customer development plans.
• Craft strategies that utilize Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), contract management entities, and distributor collaborations.
• Build, nurture, and motivate a high-performing sales team through coaching, accountability, and fostering a culture of ongoing improvement.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive leadership experience in foodservice sales; **AND**
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams and nurturing sales talent; **AND**
• A minimum of 3 years managing foodservice distributors, brokers, and national accounts; **AND**
• Familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), contract management, and non-commercial foodservice; **OR**
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline; **OR**
• Any combination of education and additional experience that equips the individual with the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
• Experience in food manufacturing.
• Background in better-for-you, natural, or health-focused brands.
• Experience leading operations in both the U.S. and Canadian markets.
