This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a regional business development strategy targeting broker, consultant, and employer-led opportunities.
• Build and strengthen relationships with employee benefits brokers, consultants, and employer decision-makers.
• Manage intricate, consultative sales cycles from initial discovery to closure, frequently involving PBM repricing, RFPs/RFIs, and finalist presentations.
• Effectively communicate TrueScripts’ PBM model, pricing strategy, clinical approach, and value proposition to discerning stakeholders.
• Act as the main sales lead for PBM quoting activities, working closely with internal pricing, operations, and clinical teams.
• Ensure accurate pipeline forecasting and sales activity tracking within the CRM system.
• Regularly meet and surpass new business revenue goals.
• Collaborate with Client Success to facilitate seamless client onboarding and ensure long-term retention.
• Provide market insights on PBM trends, competitive positioning, and broker feedback to guide leadership decisions.
• Over 5 years of experience in B2B healthcare sales, with a strong preference for direct PBM sales experience.
• Proven track record in selling through employee benefits brokers and consultants.
• Demonstrated capability to close deals with mid-market and enterprise employer groups.
• Strong knowledge of PBM pricing models (traditional vs. transparent/pass-through).
• Familiarity with employer-sponsored health plan structures.
• Understanding of broker and consultant influence on purchasing decisions.
• History of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and boards.
• Highly self-motivated with strong pipeline management and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting dashboards.
