This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and nurture relationships with mid-sized and large national account client executive management teams and key purchasing decision-makers.
• Guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction, fostering positive long-term relationships with significant potential for ongoing business and revenue growth.
• Leverage business acumen to comprehend the customer's operations for each assigned account; provide industry insights to enhance the company’s value proposition.
• Communicate effectively with the entire internal account team to meet and surpass customer expectations.
• Engage in sales forecasting and planning to ensure effective market strategies and continual revenue streams, negotiate client contracts, establish project cost models, and implement direct business development initiatives.
• Direct the formulation of each assigned strategic account plan and strategy, coordinating with relevant division resources (e.g., sales directors, operational support staff, executive sponsors, and knowledge experts).
• Execute the strategic account plan and related action plans, keeping the Director of National Accounts consistently updated on progress and account status.
• Conduct at least quarterly Strategic Account Reviews for all key accounts, along with one comprehensive annual team strategy meeting.
• Supervise and assess market research, adjusting marketing strategies to adapt to evolving market and competitive landscapes.
• Provide insights on current and upcoming pursuits and pipeline across assigned accounts as necessary to relevant leadership teams.
• Predict and monitor growth against the established baseline and account plan.
• Keep track of industry and economic trends, competitor products, and sales and marketing activities.
• Offer market intelligence on product research and development.
• Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies to acquire new business.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 - 7 years of progressive responsibility in strategic sales or sales management targeting mid-sized and large customers.
• Proven experience in delivering strategic account management to mid-sized and large organizations through matrix environments, handling multi-million dollar complex contracts.
• A demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to quickly build rapport, establishing credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment within assigned relationships.
• Demonstrated sound decision-making skills with diplomacy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Capability to work within a matrix organization and collaborate closely with all business divisions to meet tight deadlines, often requiring extended periods of continuous work.
• Significant knowledge of corporate and field selling environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others, including remote teams, and a successful history of leading diverse groups.
• Proficiency in influencing individuals at all organizational levels, including the ability to quickly build credibility and trust with senior managers and decision-makers.
• Proven ability to think strategically, manage risks, and innovate in problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical information and tailor it to meet the needs of a business audience.
• Capability to present information to a variety of internal and external audiences.
• Demonstrated high business acumen and understanding of financial principles.
• Knowledgeable about channel partner models and the local competitive landscape.
• Ability to travel without restrictions, both domestically and internationally.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Access knowledge is a plus).
