This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Establish and nurture relationships to achieve sales outcomes with designated strategic customers.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including product managers, local field sales, operations, and customer support.
• Facilitate the sales of a diverse range of disposable products—from packaging and paper to sanitation, safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comprehend Bunzl’s value proposition and implement strategies to meet sales and profitability goals.
• Oversee the execution of all operational and procedural elements necessary for a successful sales partnership, ensuring customer SLA/KPIs are met.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key customers across all organizational levels to fulfill targeted objectives.
• Foster a strong collaborative relationship with the National Account Coordinator assigned to your accounts.
• Formulate annual organic sales targets and key initiatives, executing them effectively.
• Serve as the intermediary between customers and internal teams to ensure client needs are adequately addressed.
• Evaluate sales data and trends while comparing against targets and objectives to enhance performance.
• Engage with customers to uncover and respond to specific needs.
• Committed to exceptional customer service to strengthen relationships and guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Support relevant and sanctioned events (such as tradeshows) that align with the interests of assigned customers.
• Uphold and advance category and product objectives led by the Division.
• Maintain and utilize data within the internal CRM system.
• Assist the Credit Department with account receivable management when necessary.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
• A bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of experience, education, and training is highly preferred.
• Proven sales experience in food and beverage, grocery, packaging, or a related industry.
• Previous experience in people leadership or demonstrated peer leadership is essential.
• A solid history of managing relationships and achieving measurable results.
• Must possess a competitive spirit, be driven, and self-motivated.
• Ability to think critically and strategically, employing creative solutions for problem-solving.
• Strong financial insight (understanding the impact of targets and objectives, and the cause/effect of specific actions).
• Capable of managing multiple projects and objectives concurrently.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate within a diverse team of employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication abilities to effectively convey Bunzl’s value proposition.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
• Willingness to travel extensively; national travel to multiple locations may be necessary.
