
National Account Manager, Payor Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +3 more states.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with national and regional payer organizations.
• Implement payer engagement strategies aimed at enhancing coverage, optimizing reimbursement, and improving patient access.
• Act as the primary point of contact for designated payer accounts, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
• Perform regular business assessments and pinpoint opportunities to enhance coverage policies and mitigate reimbursement obstacles.
• Collaborate with teams in reimbursement, market access, marketing, medical affairs, and product management to meet customer needs and further business goals.
• Deliver clinical evidence, health economic evaluations, and real-world outcome data to decision-makers within payers.
• Supply market intelligence and customer insights to aid in the development of value propositions, prioritize evidence generation, and support strategic planning.
• Keep precise account plans, engagement logs, and opportunity tracking documents.
• Report on account performance, emerging risks, and access opportunities to leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of experience in payer relations, market access, managed care, reimbursement, national accounts, or a similar healthcare field.
• Profound understanding of the U.S. reimbursement landscape, including coding, coverage, payment methodologies, utilization management, and medical policy formulation.
• Proven experience in presenting clinical and economic value propositions to payer stakeholders.
• Track record of successfully engaging with national and regional health plans.
• An advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience in medical devices, orthopaedics, sports medicine, or related healthcare industries.
• Established connections with payer decision-makers within national and regional organizations.
