📋 Description

• Take ownership of strategic partnerships with leading wholesale and distribution accounts in the MRO sector, ensuring alignment of sales targets, marketing strategies, and growth objectives.

• Create and implement account business strategies aimed at increasing product line penetration, enhancing profitability, and meeting sales goals.

• Negotiate annual programs, rebates, and pricing frameworks in collaboration with internal finance, marketing, and operations departments.

• Organize joint business planning meetings with key distributors to pinpoint new product opportunities, category deficiencies, and value-added services.

• Oversee and enhance digital and catalog content—ensuring that product information, imagery, specifications, and marketing materials are accurate, consistent, and optimized across distributor platforms.

• Collaborate with channel marketing teams to roll out promotions, merchandising strategies, and digital content campaigns within distributor networks.

• Track distributor performance metrics (POS data, inventory turnover, SKU assortment, market reach) and modify plans as necessary.

• Work together with regional sales managers and field teams to implement growth initiatives through distributors to local contractors and facility managers.

• Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, monitor activities, and predict performance outcomes.

• Act as the internal representative for distributors—providing insights on pricing competitiveness, product deficiencies, and market dynamics.

• Participate in trade shows, distributor events, and regional meetings to enhance relationships and advocate for the brand portfolio.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within the MRO, plumbing, electrical, or building products distribution sectors.

• Strong comprehension of wholesale distribution models, including rebates, pricing structures, and inventory management.

• Demonstrated success in managing multi-location or national distributor accounts with an annual volume exceeding $10M.

• Experience engaging with contractor-driven channels and understanding the creation of end-user demand.

• Proficiency in managing digital product content (spec sheets, marketing materials, pricing, and imagery) across large distributor or e-commerce platforms.

• Outstanding relationship management, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret POS data, financial reports, and market trends.

• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Excel, and Power BI or comparable analytics tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% for distributor visits, trade events, and joint field engagements.
