• Oversee the marketing and sales of Medtronic’s coronary product line, which includes stents, balloons, guidewires, imaging, and CathWorks technologies within the designated territory.
• Offer technical and clinical guidance in the cath lab during coronary procedures and physiological evaluations, providing assistance for challenging cases.
• Provide advanced clinical education and training for physicians, nurses, and technicians.
• Establish, nurture, and utilize relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), senior clinicians, and executives.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Accounts, Strategic Accounts, and Sales Leadership to develop pricing strategies, facilitate contract negotiations, and promote system-wide adoption.
• Create and implement comprehensive territory and account plans that consider clinical, economic, and competitive factors.
• Meet and surpass quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Regularly travel to hospitals and attend off-site meetings, which may necessitate overnight stays.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience*, or Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience*, or Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience*
• *Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Ideal candidates will exhibit a mix of clinical knowledge, commercial leadership, and strategic relationship-building capabilities, including:
• Experience in supporting cath labs and collaborating with interventional cardiologists on intricate coronary procedures.
• Capacity to establish credibility with physicians and healthcare leaders by presenting data-driven, customer-centric solutions.
• Strong skills in territory/business planning, focusing on balancing competing priorities, anticipating market changes, and implementing long-term strategies with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of performing effectively in high-pressure clinical settings, delivering composed procedural leadership.
