
National Account Manager – Kroger, Harris Teeter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Spearhead and formulate the annual sales strategies exceeding $45MM for the Tropicana Brands Group Juice division at Harris Teeter and the Naked Juice segment at Kroger.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Sales – Kroger.
• Collaborate directly with category managers overseeing Chilled Beverages and Shelf Stable Juices where TBG's products are featured.
• Cultivate strong business relationships and successful partnerships with Kroger and HT category buyers to enhance and expand Tropicana Brands Group operations.
• Work in partnership with our Broker Partner to effectively manage the Harris Teeter account.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and lead negotiations to foster business growth while achieving sales, revenue, and profit objectives.
• Utilize channel expertise and customer strategy insights to uncover profitable growth prospects, informing TBG’s strategic growth initiatives.
• Oversee all elements of the customers’ joint business plan (JBP) process with category buyers alongside TBG leadership.
• Collaborate across functions to develop and execute strategic plans that align with customer goals while promoting innovation and key initiatives to strengthen our market position.
• Persuade internal stakeholders to support the customer’s annual operating plan, meet customer expectations, and drive execution.
• Manage the TBG Kroger and HT Profit & Loss statement.
• Anticipate potential business challenges and proactively develop solutions, communicating effectively with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Direct annual sales, revenue, profit, and key performance indicators planning (AOP - Annual Operating Plan).
• Supervise demand planning and supply chain customer service processes to ensure accurate demand forecasting and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• At least 5 years of experience in fact-based direct selling.
• Outstanding customer management, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment, agreement, and commitments from both internal and external key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
• A storyteller passionate about crafting and presenting compelling sales narratives.
• Exceptional presentation skills, capable of engaging at all levels within both customer and internal organizations.
• Proficient in planning and managing major projects involving multiple stakeholders in an organized, focused, and efficient manner to meet goals and deadlines.
• Superior time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills to connect customer and TBG strategies and objectives, leveraging insights for profitable growth planning.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently without constant supervision, leading cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
• Creative mindset to develop win-win solutions.
• Strong financial understanding, including the P&L impact of sales decisions.
• Financial acumen to create sound and persuasive profit-driving propositions for both TBG and the customer.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Residency in Cincinnati, OH, and surrounding areas is required, or willingness to relocate for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong proficiency in PC applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
