This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Optimize site of care (SOC) opportunities in line with product labeling, strategic goals, and company policies.
• Lead and facilitate coordination and communication among all stakeholders involved in developing SOC networks at both national and regional levels.
• Collaborate with local gastroenterology account managers to implement pull-through strategies.
• Responsible for adapting to rapid changes in the customer landscape and evolving contracting methods.
• Execute approved contracting strategies to meet objectives, aligning with AbbVie’s goals and policies.
• Work cross-functionally as a liaison between AbbVie and customer decision-makers to support contract execution in accordance with established enterprise-wide policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Assist in contract processes by gathering information for contracts and coordinating with the centralized pricing committee and finance group.
• Identify, assess, develop, and monitor partnerships/business plans within designated customer/partner accounts to align with set objectives.
• Accountable for fostering and expanding relationships with key individuals within accounts to fulfill the business needs of both the customer/partner and AbbVie through a collaborative approach while driving results.
• Establish a strong partnership with field-based colleagues to ensure adequate cross-functional support for customers within a specified geography and for the development and execution of pull-through strategies.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• At least 4 years of experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement (including commercial and government payers, billing/coding) involving infused products is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and understanding of commercial insurance reimbursement.
• Familiarity with hospital and community clinic billing and reimbursement processes.
• Experience in launching gastroenterology and infused specialty products.
• Significant experience in buy-and-bill contracting, account management, or similar roles.
• Recent experience with launching infused products is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience with corporate-level account planning.
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
