This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Formulate strategies aimed at long-term growth within manufacturing accounts (F&B, Metal, Steel, Glass).
• Create detailed Account plans that include measurable metrics and KPIs.
• Establish and oversee targets for the national sales department.
• Cultivate a trustworthy and professional rapport with clients.
• Conduct meetings with clients and account managers.
• Ensure all accounts are properly managed and maintained.
• Supervise and guide regional sales personnel within your department.
• Address complaints and inquiries on behalf of clients.
• Introduce and promote new services and products to clients in your department.
• Provide senior management with updates regarding the status of your accounts.
• Take a leading role in preparing presentations and proposals for national accounts.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive advantages, and other relevant factors.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or business is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a regional or national account manager role, selling electrical or engineering-related services/PLC to the F&B industry, OR experience as a technical project or program manager in the F&B industry with a strong understanding of electrical or power distribution.
• A sales background with a proven track record of sales performance.
• A robust strategic mindset.
• The capability to engage with all organizational levels, from engineering teams to the CEO.
• A solid understanding of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators.
• Strong analytical and strategic aptitude.
• Decisive thinking paired with effective leadership skills.
