This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Establish and nurture strong, strategic relationships with both existing and potential customers, acting as a trusted partner and advocate for the Milo’s brand.
• Evaluate sales performance, including volume, product mix, and pricing, while staying informed on supply and demand trends, market fluctuations, economic indicators, and competitive activities.
• Utilize syndicated and internal data to uncover opportunities for increasing sales, expanding distribution and shelf presence, and enhancing brand positioning and customer engagement.
• Create and implement detailed account plans, effectively communicating strategies and initiatives to Retail Sales for successful field execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Senior Directors of HQ Sales and Sales Leadership, to formulate and oversee channel and partner strategies.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify potential risks, challenges, and growth opportunities.
• Forecast, budget, and monitor account volume and performance against established key metrics.
• Compile and present regular reports, forecasts, and customer presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, requirements, and business priorities.
• Relay information on competitor activities, retailer trends, promotions, and opportunities to internal teams to ensure cohesive alignment and execution excellence.
• Oversee relationships with designated brokers and third-party sales agents, providing guidance on account priorities, promotional execution, and performance benchmarks.
• Travel as necessary within the assigned territory to support customer relationships and achieve business objectives.
• Prepare and submit monthly expense reports promptly and accurately.
• Participate in food shows, trade events, and customer meetings to develop, maintain, and enhance customer relationships.
• Exhibit initiative, accountability, and high personal performance standards to drive results.
• Actively engage in all Corporate Responsibility programs, including environmental, social, and MMAD initiatives.
• Serve as a role model for Milo’s commitment to responsibility, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
• This role includes food safety responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, including at least 3 years managing national or major accounts; or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Proven experience in developing account plans, managing trade expenditure, and achieving volume objectives is necessary.
• Proficiency in utilizing syndicated data tools is required.
• Experience in the CPG or food and beverage sectors is highly preferred.
