This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Oversee the creation and execution of the annual Joint Business Plan for Tesco.
• Direct annual negotiations and conduct significant commercial evaluations.
• Assume responsibility for all elements of the Tesco P&L, promoting profitable and sustainable growth in alignment with broader business goals.
• Cultivate and sustain robust, cooperative relationships with Tesco buying teams, category managers, and essential stakeholders.
• Spearhead comprehensive promotional planning, ensuring consistency with brand strategy and achievement of profitability objectives.
• Assess promotional effectiveness and enhance return on trade investments.
• Detect risks and opportunities through the analysis of category, shopper, and performance data, converting insights into actionable strategies.
• Assist and influence range reviews, line modifications, and the introduction of new products to maximize distribution and visibility.
• Collaborate across functions with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to produce cohesive, top-tier plans.
• Manage the forecasting process, ensuring precision in both short- and long-term plans while supporting optimal availability.
• Represent Highland Spring as an ambassador in all customer interactions, reviews, and external engagements.
• Experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the grocery sector.
• Background in supporting a Top 4 UK grocery account; familiarity with Tesco is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen and numerical proficiency.
• Comfortable working with data, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Capability to build relationships and exert influence both internally and externally.
• Experience in forecasting and demand planning.
• It would also be advantageous if you possess:
• Experience in the beverages sector or premium FMCG brands.
• Exposure to Joint Business Planning and annual negotiation processes.
