National Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Takes full ownership of P&L for significant national and regional chains, enhancing sales, profitability, and brand growth through strategic portfolio development, rigorous financial management, and high-stakes commercial negotiations.

• Formulates and implements long-term strategic account plans, utilizing profound market, consumer, and operational insights while acting as the primary enterprise liaison across Marketing, Culinary, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations.

• Builds and maintains senior-level customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who aligns industry trends, innovation, and sustainability goals with customer aspirations to foster long-term value.

• Success in this role demands a thorough understanding of the intricate foodservice distribution and broker ecosystem, ensuring alignment, execution, and resolution of distribution issues while collaborating closely with field sales and agency partners.

• Internally, the position drives cross-functional influence, organizational alignment, and disciplined execution across CRM, forecasting, pipeline management, pricing, budgeting, and all administrative processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Over 10 years of progressive sales experience in the food service manufacturing sector

• More than 5 years of direct responsibility for national account and regional chain accounts, with demonstrated existing customer connections

• Proven experience in navigating complex products through demanding distribution channels, requiring extensive industry knowledge and executional expertise

• Significant experience collaborating with broker networks to meet national and regional goals

• Willingness to travel 75%, including overnight business trips

• Candidates must currently hold unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
