
National Account Director – Retail Product Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute sales strategies through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities.
• Convert the division sales strategy into actionable plans.
• Spearhead the development of future product and service extensions, enhancements, and marketing strategies.
• Cultivate and sustain high-level sales relationships.
• Oversee the product expert team and resources dedicated to Medline’s product portfolio and sales initiatives.
• Establish critical strategies and market approaches in collaboration with Medline Sales Leaders.
• Manage communications with sales partners, target opportunities, handle pipeline management, and set sales objectives.
• Achieve sales targets by expanding and retaining existing accounts while introducing new solutions, products, and services.
• Lead sales teams and initiatives through all phases of the sales process.
• Supervise business reviews, competitive analysis documentation, and customer needs assessments.
• Handle customer engagement, stakeholder relationships, issue resolution, training requirements, and product/system needs analysis.
• Oversee product conversions, implementations, trial support, and execution of programs.
• Identify product positioning and innovation opportunities while tracking market trends.
• Relay product feedback and potential new product opportunities to the relevant departments.
• Represent Medline at key customer conventions when requested.
• Provide leadership and management across major departments or system-wide functions.
• Conduct strategic, tactical, and operational planning for a period of 12+ months.
• Manage budgets, policies, staffing, performance evaluations, training, development, and work assignments.
• Bachelor's degree in a business or clinical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall experience in product management, product development, or sales.
• At least 4 years of experience in product sales.
• A minimum of 4 years in directly managing sales professionals, which includes hiring, developing, motivating, and directing personnel.
• Proven ability to implement sales marketing strategies and tactics.
• Extensive knowledge of products, customers, and market needs.
• Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues, along with implementing resolution strategies.
• Capability to analyze market trends for presentations, recommendations, and business forecasting.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate solutions for complex challenges.
• Demonstrated program management skills with a track record of successfully completing strategic initiatives.
• Proficient in presenting to senior management or C-suite executives and reporting on project plans and cost-benefit analyses.
• Experience in communications planning and implementation.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% to 75% for business purposes, both in-state and out-of-state.
• Ability to work in office environments and medical facilities.
• Availability for non-traditional work hours during in-services, including weekends and multiple shifts.
